It is light, has good tonal characteristics and is readily available in Europe. They came across Cream-T pickups based in the UK and despite Brexit it the UK is part of Europe. And they make very good pickups. they decided to go with them as the main supplier of pickups. Of course, they use their own Kauffmann single coil pickups in the Cozy as well. But most P-90 and humbuckers are Cream T pickups.
