Martin Custom Shop Factory Tour

As you know Guitarking is dealer of Martin guitars, and we were even invited to visit the Martin factory in Nazareth Pennsylvania! Of course, we took this opportunity to see how these guitars are made with our very own eyes. It was a great visit and the People of Martin made sure we got to see every step of the production line! During this visit we were giving the chance to order special Custom shop guitars like the Cherry Hill models.

The Cherry Hill Models

These Cherry Custom shop models celebrate Martin’s humble origins and specifically

commemorates Christian Frederick Martin’s relocation from Manhattan to Cherry Hill in 1839, less than ½ mile from our current location. It features elegant cherrywood back and sides, and a crisp spruce top. It is bound with stunning flamed maple and natural fiber inlays. Equally beautiful to the eyes and ears, the Cherry Hill Custom represents a significant chapter in Martin’s history. This special instrument is available exclusively to the factory guests and is a Truly a collector’s item!

The Exclusive Guitarking Limited Custom Shop 

During our visit to the Martin factory in Nazareth Pennsylvania in May 2024, we were also given the opportunity to custom order our verry own Martin Custom Shop! So, this is truly a one-of-a-kind Custom Shop guitar. As base model we chose the HD-28 and started adding from there, the top is a clean looking Adirondack Spruce with a Cocobolo back and sides. The fretboard is beautiful black ebony with diamond shape inlays. To match the inlays on the fretboard we chose the same type of inlay for the bridge. The rosette is a beautiful 45 Style with Abalone which combines really nicely with the CF Martin Block Golden Era inlay on the headstock. As you can see, we extended our already pretty nice Martin Collection with these amazing Custom Shop models!
