At Van Laeck we believe that something magical happens when an electrical guitar is amplified though a set of vacuum tubes. There is a depth and richness to the sound that simply doesn’t happen when a guitar is plugged into a computer.

It’s this fascination that got us started. The world of guitar gear is about selling dreams. At Van Laeck we believe that building a good tube amplifier is however about knowledge and craft rather than sorcery or black magic. Selecting the right components. Building in such a way that amps are reliable and serviceable. Combining elements of the great designs from the past into something new and exciting. And ultimately tweaking the result such that it matches the guitar and the player. Its the drive to become better at this that keeps us going. We also believe at Van Laeck that in a global village with knowledge and resources at everybody’s fingertips, great amps don’t have to travel across the globe but can be build over here in the Netherlands. Our parts supplies are coming for over 95% out of NL and Europe.
