MARBLE LTD is based on the 5 E 3 Tweed Deluxe Amp.

The Marble LTD is a new development based on the all time classic 5E3 design. The LTD is a very versatile but at the same time simple amplifier which makes it very suitable for small gigs and studio use. Specially the built in “Power Soaker” makes recording with the LTD easy and big fun. Bassically the LTD is a two channel tube amp where each channel has high and low inputs and a separate volume control. Both channels share a single Tone control that operates in the normal channel as a treble bleed off control and in the bright channel as a treble boost control. Both channels can also be bridged to create more complexe tones. Compared with the stock 5E3 amp the LTD has an improved circuitry to tackle the basic problems that are common with a lot of 5E3 modelled amps. The power amp has been improved to reduce nasty 50 cycles from the powersupply hum to a minimum. Not a big deal in live situations but ideal in studio environments. These improvements are very delicate by not changing the smooth tone and responsive feel but still reducing hum effectively. The so called Kathodyne phase inverter circuitry has been updated to prevent Couple Cap Clamping, a phenomena that occurs in most kathodyne circuits. It makes an amp sound really dirty after heating up in hi gain settings. The LTD can be pushed to the limit without clamping occurs and still has the same feel and drive like the original models. The LTD is further fitted with a so called “Bass Depht”control. When played in more cleaner settings the desired full low end is there. With high gain settings this would make an amp sound muddy and dirty. The Bass Depht control cures this problem, by gradually making the bottom end sound tight and strong. The Weber special design plug Alnico 12A125S is driven along with our Power Soaker attenuator that easily reduces the signal output. This is very convienient in the studio or with practice purposes at home.

Retour

Klacht
We raden je aan om klachten eerst bij ons kenbaar te maken door te mailen naar wilma@guitarking.nl. Leidt dit niet tot een oplossing, dan is het mogelijk om het geschil aan te melden voor bemiddeling via Stichting Webwinkelkeur. Voor consumenten in de EU is het ook mogelijk om klachten aan te melden via het ODR-platform van de Europese Commissie. Wanneer de klacht nog niet elders in behandeling is, dan staat het je vrij om de klacht te deponeren via het platform van de Europese Unie.
