The Napolean Reverb is Van Laeck’s “Postmodern Tweed” concept; in fact an attempt to blend different concepts from the early days of guitar amplification.
What makes this amp stand out from the regular designs from the 50’s, is it’s transformerless reverb that has Lo-Fi, almost plate-like but almost musical character. You have to try it… The EQ switch selects an American voicing or a Britisch voicing. The first emphasizes the low mids where the latter puts more focus on the high mids.
The Napolean Reverb comes with a lifelong warranty on manufacturing defects.
