Jos van Rooijen is the founder and artisan of Rojo Guitars. Music has been a central part of his life since childhood, from spinning records with his parents, enjoying live concerts and playing in bands.

His passion for music and woodworking naturally led Him to the art of lutherie.

Rojo Guitars is inspired by the timeless classics of the 50s and 60s, focusing on quality handcraftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. The journey from improvised workshops to the current Rojo workspace has been one of continuous learning and growth.
