The Gibson ES-335 Figured is the perfect blend of form and function, delivering classic ES-335 performance and versatility combined with the stunning looks of highly figured AAA maple. The top and back of the body are bound, and the semi-hollow body is constructed from 3-ply AAA figured maple/poplar/maple, with the AAA figured maple outer layers giving these guitars their exceptional beauty. A solid maple center block provides outstanding feedback resistance and contributes to enhanced sustain and power—hallmarks of the ES-335. The body uses Adirondack spruce bracing for tone and strength.

Players will be impressed by the lightweight feel and the wide range of tonal possibilities this guitar offers. The mahogany neck has a comfortable Rounded C profile and features a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, adorned with small acrylic block inlays. The 12" fingerboard radius makes it equally suitable for playing “cowboy chords” in first position and for delivering exciting lead lines with generous string bending higher up the neck, without loss of string energy.

The ES-335 Figured is equipped with premium appointments such as a hand-wired control assembly with Orange Drop® tone capacitors. The pickups are a pair of new Gibson calibrated T-Type humbuckers. Smooth-turning Vintage Deluxe tuners, a lightweight aluminum ABR-1 bridge and stopbar tailpiece anchored with steel thumbwheels and studs, and a Graph Tech® nut all contribute to excellent tuning stability and impressive sustain.

The AAA figured maple body is finished in beautiful high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer from the Custom Color Series, including Blood Moon Burst, Deep Ocean Burst, and Honey Amber. A Gibson hardshell case is also included to keep the ES-335 Figured safe during storage and transport to your next gig.
