Epiphone en Gibson Custom hebben opnieuw samengewerkt aan een update van de Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Firebird – een authentieke replica van de gitaar die is ontworpen door Ray Dietrich, de legendarische designer uit de automotivebranche. Toen het in 1963 werd gelanceerd, was de Firebird™ het eerste nek-door-body-model van Gibson. Het werd vervolgens gebruikt door spelers in een breed scala aan genres, waaronder blueslegende Johnny Winter, Keith Richards en Brian Jones van The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton en Phil Manzanera van Roxy Music, om er maar een paar te noemen.

De vernieuwde Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Firebird I biedt vintage Firebird-specificaties tegen een aantrekkelijke prijs, waaronder een 9-laags hals-door-body-design van mahonie- en walnoothout met mahoniehouten bodyvleugels aan beide kanten van de hals. Deze constructiemethode heeft tot gevolg dat de stemmers, het element en de brug allemaal in hetzelfde stuk hout zijn verankerd voor een uitzonderlijke resonantie, duurzaamheid en toonoverdracht tussen de delen.

De hals heeft een SlimTaper™ Rounded C-profiel met zachte toetsranden voor een comfortabel, ingespeeld gevoel. De rozenhouten toets is versierd met stipinlays in mother of pearl en is uitgerust met 22 middelgrote jumbo frets. Zelfs de stippen positiemarkeringen aan de zijkant hebben dezelfde afmetingen als de vintage Firebirds en op historisch nauwkeurige locaties geplaatst. Kluson® planetaire 'banjo'-mechanieken verankeren de snaren aan de kop en dragen verder bij aan de historische Firebird-look, terwijl een omhullende Lightning Bar-brug de dingen aan de andere kant op zijn plaats houden en versterken de uitstekende duurzaamheid nog verder.

Hoewel de specificaties van de vintage 1963 Firebird I in uitgeklede vorm zijn gebleven, is de elektronica ook premium en omvat een Gibson USA Firebird mini humbucker™-element met Alnico 5-magneten. Het is met de hand aangesloten op een paar CTS®-potentiometers, een Mallory™-tooncondensator en een Switchcraft® 1/4" jack-output, waardoor deze opmerkelijke reproductie niet alleen het uiterlijk, maar ook het geluid van een klassieke Firebird I heeft. De nieuwe Vintage Gloss afwerking versterkt de vintage-uitstraling. Een Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom harde koffer is ook inbegrepen.

Delivery is carried out by the postal service or parcel courier. In general, delivery within the Netherlands takes place on the next working day between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the exact delivery time.

Returns

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receiving it, without giving any reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product. You will then receive a full refund of the order amount, including shipping costs. Only the costs for returning the item are at your own expense.

If you make use of this right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to Guitarking with all supplied accessories and if reasonably possible in its original condition and packaging.
